My Popop once told me, “always look up, you don’t want to miss anything.”
I’m from PDX, aka “Keep Portland Weird,” and a graduate of the University of Oregon (with a Bachelor’s degree in Advertising — shout out the SOJC!).
Sports have always been a big part of my life and since I’m no longer playing (and have no chance professionally), I want to leverage its power to help tell impactful stories that influence communities worldwide. What does this even mean? Examples: most Nike commercials (but that’s basic), Adidas “Impossible is Nothing”, P&G “Thank You, Mom”, and Toyota’s “Jessica Long” video.
A fun fact about me is I am a foodie. I’ll try just about any food EXCEPT beets; for some reason I can’t get over the texture. One of my goals later on in life is to open a Japanese fusion restaurant somewhere warm, and provide people with an experience (because in my opinion that’s what restaurants are: experiences).
Two truths and a lie:
1. I have 35 pairs of shoes
2. I played the trumpet for 8 years
3. I’ve been in a hot air balloon
